Christopher Huss has 40 years of legal experience in real estate, construction, banking, and land use—spanning private practice, public service, and executive in-house counsel roles. Known for his meticulous attention to contracts, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance, Chris has helped guide some of the largest development projects in the South Sound.

As General Counsel for Tucci & Sons, he oversaw the legal and development operations behind master-planned communities like Gem Heights, Silver Creek, and Lakeland Hills. He was also a key member of the firm’s senior management team, shaping everything from construction contracts to HR policy and entitlement strategy.

Earlier in his career, he served as counsel for Western Community Bank and co-founded a law firm focused on real estate and commercial law. Chris has been equally active in community service. He currently serves on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Tacoma–Pierce County and has held volunteer roles at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Big Brothers of Tacoma, and youth sports programs.

With a law degree from the University of Puget Sound and a lifelong commitment to equity through housing, Chris brings legal clarity and a steady hand to 1DROP’s board.
