Allied Membership
Empowering the next generation of housing developers.
1DROP developers are building housing in the communities that need it most. Behind every project is a network of lenders, architects, contractors, and service providers who make that work possible.
Allied Membership is how you become part of that network intentionally, not just when a referral happens to come your way.
If you want direct access to a pipeline of mission-aligned developers and a seat at the table in this community, this is where you start.
Why This Network Matters
Less than 1% of real estate developers in the U.S. are people of color.
That gap shapes who builds, who profits, and who benefits from new housing. 1DROP exists to close it. Allied Members are the people developers turn to when they need someone trusted, capable, and aligned with the mission.

How to Join
Annual dues are $499 per year, the same flat rate for individuals and organizations. Enrollment is curated and grows through direct relationship and referral. Time commitment is what you make of it. Your profile is the only requirement and everything else is opt-in.
Step 1: Start a conversation
Reach out to Krosbie Carter, our Director of Partnership, Development and Policy for a 30-minute meet-and-greet. We confirm fit and walk you through the full member experience.
Step 2: Complete your profile
Tell us who you are, what you offer, and what you want to partner on. An online intake form is coming soon. For now this happens directly with the Director of Partnerships.
Step 3: Go live
Pay annual dues and your profile publishes to the directory and member portal.
As your relationships deepen, there are pathways to greater visibility through sponsorship and programming opportunities.
