Breaking ground on a 16-unit duplex project, Remy Properties, led by Claude Remy, is showcasing the leadership and vision that define the 1DROP Collective. Based in Lakewood, WA, this project highlights how the collective strengthens its members, creating opportunities for developers to deliver meaningful housing solutions.

Building Homes, Creating Communities.

The goal of this project is to create homes that cater to individuals seeking a more intimate, personalized living experience. We aim to build spaces that go beyond providing comfort and privacy, nurturing a sense of belonging and cultural connection. This project aspires to support diverse communities helping people thrive in environments that reflect their identities and foster meaningful connections, making sure residents feel connected and truly at home.

Enhancing Neighborhood Charm.

The modern duplexes will complement the existing neighborhood, providing a more upscale and appealing look. With new landscaping features, including a community courtyard, playground, and outdoor seating areas, we are investing in the shared spaces that foster connection and a sense of belonging for residents.

As Dominique Remy, the project construction manager, explains, the Grange Street Duplexes offer a unique solution for intergenerational living.

This design offers comfort and versatility that will appeal to small families, students, teachers, and local workforce professionals seeking an affordable, high-quality living space.”


Enriching the Community with Modern Living Spaces.

Our 0.5-acre lot is set to be transformed from an aging structure into a modern, multifamily community featuring eight duplexes and a total of 16 units. With a combination of 1-bedroom, 1-bath units and 2-bedroom, 2-bath units, this development will provide much-needed housing for middle-income families and individuals, with 24 parking spots for resident convenience.

We anticipate completing the Grange Street Duplexes by November 2025, bringing a much-needed housing option to the area and fulfilling our mission of creating inclusive, community-driven spaces.
