1DROP's Board of Directors Is Officially Formed

We're thrilled to announce a pivotal moment in 1DROP's journey: the formation of our official Board of Directors. We've assembled an exceptional group of leaders who share our vision of creating equitable pathways in real estate development.

We've had the honor of confirming a dynamic group of leaders from across sectors—finance, real estate, law, and community development—who bring the experience, integrity, and passion 1DROP needs as we grow. Their leadership will help shape the systems, partnerships, and resources that make our mission possible.

Meet the Inaugural Board

Cliff Avril | Board Member

President, CA Family Properties

Beyond his NFL career with the Seahawks, Cliff has built an impressive real estate portfolio through CA Family Properties, managing over 100 units across Seattle, Chicago, and Alabama. His development approach emphasizes neighborhood revitalization and long-term community value. Through the Cliff Avril Family Foundation, he's also funded global initiatives including building homes and schools in Haiti.

Christopher Huss | Board Member

Retired Attorney, Former General Counsel at Tucci & Sons

Christopher brings four decades of legal expertise in real estate, construction, and land use development. As former in-house counsel for one of South Puget Sound's largest contractors, he provided legal oversight for major master-planned communities including Gem Heights, Silver Creek, and Lakeland Communities. Currently serving on Habitat for Humanity's board, he continues his commitment to expanding housing access.

Danie Baker | Board Treasurer

Senior Tax Manager, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)

Danie brings sophisticated financial expertise as a Real Estate CPA with nearly 15 years at PwC, specializing in billion-dollar real estate portfolios. Based in Seattle and a regular contributor to the Seattle Times, she understands both the technical and market dynamics shaping our region's development landscape. Her Big Four experience will be instrumental in developing financial tools for emerging developers.

Reggie Brown | Co-Founder & Board Secretary

Founder, Louis Rudolph Homes

Reggie's journey from childhood housing instability to successful real estate development embodies 1DROP's mission. With over three decades in real estate, he's led complex projects including converting a grocery store into affordable housing and constructing four-story residential buildings. Through Louis Rudolph Homes his commitment to elevating BIPOC developers drives everything 1DROP does.

Scott Beckwith | Board President

Vice President of Business Lending, Harborstone Credit Union

Scott brings nearly two decades of commercial lending expertise spanning SBA loans, construction financing, and business development. As former board president of both the South Sound YMCA and Olympia Capital Centennial Rotary Club, he's earned multiple volunteer-of-the-year awards for his community leadership. His deep understanding of real estate finance will be invaluable as we help developers navigate funding challenges.

The Road Ahead

This board formation marks a critical inflection point as we accelerate toward our five-year goals: supporting 40 - 60 BIPOC developers, facilitating the construction of 2,750 homes, and generating over $1 billion in economic activity throughout the Puget Sound region.

With this leadership team's combined expertise in finance, law, development, and community building, we're not just building homes—we're building pathways to generational wealth and community transformation.
