Ruth’s Landing marks a significant milestone in Tacoma's East Side, transforming the former E29th development site into a 10-unit residential community. The project provides convenient, affordable, and high-quality housing options ideal for local workers and families, given its location near major transit routes and downtown Tacoma.

This development is a powerful example of the 1DROP mission and a personal achievement for lead developer Christopher Brown of Brown Homes. Christopher, who transitioned from a 20-year career as a truck driver, leveraged extensive hands-on learning from projects like the 40-unit Chelan development and 12 units on East 31st. The project successfully delivered its housing units in three years, with Christopher managing the full development responsibilities from permitting through completion.

Christopher benefited from 1DROP's co-development model, receiving a robust support network and systematized approach from mentors Reggie Brown, Claude Remy, and Dominique Remy.
